spent about three hours in the patch today. been a long time since i've done the time needed for pinching tertiarys, snipping old male stems, a little rototilling early walkways, covering leaf stems, watering, fertilizing with a pump sprayer, under and over the leaves, training the secondarys and what not. my effort is more relaxed each year i do this. of course i'll be absolutely pissed if if doesn't materialize into a weighable specimen. what did u think.
