Forward view of patch...Weekly activities.
1. Fertilize
a. 1 gallon manure tea
b. 1 cup fish and seaweed
c. 2 tablespoons of miracle grow
d. 2 cups molasses
3. Broadcast 12 cups of blood meal.
4. Broadcast 12 cups of bone meal.
5. Broadcast 12 cups of humic acid.
6. Trimmed dieing leaves from around stumps.
7. Sprayed actinate on plants.
8. Sprayed compost tea on patch. Made two batches by pouring two gallons of straight tea and adding one gallon of water to dilute. This made 8 gallons of tea.
9. added mill clothe to pumpkins.
10. Erected shade structure.
11. relieved pressure from main vine.
This weekend I have been very busy trying to catch up on activities from that I had forgo from due to my vacation. I still need to spray the plants for bugs and wipe down the pumpkins. Might have to wait for the morning, more storms are approaching from the north.
