Our 919 fruit has now picked it up to 11 lbs per day after a few at 8-9 lbs per day.
Got some great advice and was able to adjust the vine gently away from the fruit. I was fortunate that a few secondaries after the fruit were not anchored too deeply with roots and I was able to pull the gently away from the shoulders of the fruit and adjust the angle of the main away from the shoulders of the pumpkin.
Have also added some vine support and did my best to get the stem and blossum end equidistant from the ground.
Thanks again for the great advice from the mentors that I emailed...much appreciated and helped alot!!
