i decided to pollinate another one on the 1161 for backup to "the duece" as the open pollinated female looks to have aborted. hopefully "the duece" takes completely. not many chances left even on secondaries at this point. and male flowers are limited to few if none since pruning them all off yesterday. i missed a few on the 1161 and used that to pollinate the 4 lober on a strong secondary this morning. the plants are all filled in and i will return to my root drenching program of neptunes seaweed and fish. i will try to pick cooler cloudy days to avoid instant energy surges. i have not given the plants anything but vcp 0-13-0 and 9-18-9 about 3 weeks ago. i did mix in a little humic acid in with the fungicide/insecticide on thursday, but nothing else but plenty of water. i am not foliar feeding this year or using compost tea. i am keeping my leaves from getting coated with anything but fungicides and insecticides. everything else is coming from the soil. the calcium is from the 400 lbs of gypsum and the 100 lbs of calcite calcium. the 250 pounds of kelp meal, the 100 lbs of K mag, the 100 pounds of humic acid, and 150 pounds of charcoal green biochar along with 15 yards of the best compost on earth should be plenty on the nutrient side in the soil. also, i ordered 26 pounds of bio endo plus and ended up using 5 pounds per plant. the remain 11 pounds was broadcast by hand around the entire 1385 plant when "it" was on day 10 and watered it in nicely for 3 days. not sure how much of that will help, but i no it can't hurt. "It" is 77" circ. today on day 19. "freak" is 38" circ. on day 12.
