The male did open so on 7/1/09 I had 1 shot at pollenating my 1st female 11.5' out on the main of 1058.8 Papez. It seems to be growing slowly, despite the weather.
Here's Crackey checking out my latest invention to prevent soil compaction, and vine damage. The chair rides on the tubing, which is right above the main. I was looking for a chair with a cup holder , but you take what you get.
There's another female 3' past this 1 that looks like it may opne this weekend.
