I think somebody pulled out there pumpkin voodoo doll and a picture of my patch and gave my patch the PUMPKIN STEM SPLITS curse.
1004 Mohr: At First sight I was happy to see the twins were starting to kick into gear after removing the first fruit dew to stem splits and bad vine position.
After closer inspection I found this Split on the furthest one out. It is pretty deep and almost the whole lenth of the stem. Cleaned with alcohol and painted with captan.
Note: I don't think stem stress could of played to much of a factor in this because the stem was not under any weird pressure.
