Lime I used, 2x25kg Biolanin Puutarhakalkki, includes 3% magnesium (Mg) and 31% kalsium (Ca). Neutralizationcapacity is 38% and rapid neutralizationcapacity is 30%. 84% of particles are smaller than 0,15mm. I applied also another lime from Nordkalk, I am not sure what kind of lime that was. Old leftover form fields.
If pH really is as low as 4,5 there should be added 1-3kg/square meter lime to raise it up to 6,5. Amount of lime depends on soil (and who makes the recommendation). I still have a large area where is no extralime added, so all work is still not done.
