Last but not least, the 1689. You can see my mini greenhouse frames in the background. They are 8' x 8'. I thought they worked pretty good and I hope to get a few years out of the frames. Plants outgrew them at the end of May, but then the cold rolled in and havn't seen much growth since. If I had the time and $$ I would have tried to build bigger greenhouses. The Jutras had a bit of a setback when the main vine laid down and kinked a bit. I had a ramp of dirt under it but it didn't lay down perfectly. I also had to cut the the first secondary off as it was growing straight into the ground. I was worried about stress and twisting on the main so I removed it. Maybe that was a rookie mistake, but I didn't know what else to do. The plant still seems to be doing okay, 11' main, and a 4 lober at 10'. I still have high hopes for this one!
