set up a new 5' tall sprinkler in the center of the patch and checked its pattern after burying vines with bio endo mych this morning. looks to get out to the edges pretty good but i will set up a couple sprinklers from the outside in on both far sides of the patch and use them as well when the patch is completely filled out. had fun watching my insane dog chase and jump at the water each time it went over the chain link fence in her separated area. basically she has complete access to the south half of my propety and the patch is secured from both her and neighborhood punks and is on the northwest side of the property. no way in hell i will let her anywhere near the plants or the punks. it would not be a pretty sight if a kid ignored the beware of dog sign and jumped the fence. i hope they are not that stupid. as the third owner of her and being a rescued dog that was severly abused, she is a great with me, but hates most other things that move. lol. and i still call her be her original given name of "oreo", but most of the time i call her "cujo". she is a 3 year old black lab mix with either rotweiler or pit mixed in and is somewhere in the vacinity of 120 lbs. best security system a person could ever ask for living in and growing pumpkins in Joliet.
