I've got some wooden stakes holding up my sprinkler system in the garden. Tonight, at the base of one of the stakes in the soil, I noticed some cream colored ooze. It is the consitancy of runny pudding and doesn't have much of a smell. I dug the soil out and tossed it, but it concerns me. Anyone have any ideas what it is?
