I’ve had a turbulent time with the onions over the last few weeks but this year was always my trial year and I’m learning a great deal. Then, oops, just when I felt they were settling down I found a bad mistake. I’ve been changing my sodium lights to come on the same time as sun rise and sun set every 4 or 5 days. I changed the time to 20.40 but somehow missed out the 0, what a Donkey. Anyway what’s done is done and I can’t put the lights back or they will start bulbing up for sure. I think I have to leave the lights the way they are for the next six weeks and see what happens. This onion is 11 inches round.
