Dori's plants are recovering nicely. The laterals have came out into both bumpouts on her hut. This give her about 10 feet on the mains and about 18 feet across the laterals. She spent 4 hours at least today tilling up the ground around the hut, spraying kelp and then burying vines. Her plants are loving all the tender loving care she is giving them. Mine had to tough it out as I spent the last 2 days building a new sprinkling system for the patch. Dori will have sprinkler head on 6 foot centers and my plants will be on 5 foot centers. Tom was wondering why I ordered 82 sprinkler heads. I want to be able to provide uniform watering to all of the plant area automatically 3 times a day. Will also set up an fertilizer injector system so can provide a weak but constant feeding thru the irrigation system. Believe that slow and steady is the way to go......just like a turtle.
