Here is overall view of our plants this year. We are raising four and three are 4 1/2-5 feet long. Our weather was 100 plus for a few days this weeks so really had to water like crazy. Gophers are giant pain here so this is why we have chicken wire under vines. It keeps them from getting to plants. They are also in holes lined with chicken wire too. This has kept them out. I think area is gopher free for now but - it only takes one to move in and destroy a plant. Thank you for all input. Steve
