Just when I thought I was done, I'm picking more rocks out of my patch. Digging pits with backhoe is great, but, digs up lots of rocks, four trailer loads and counting. Got a nice pile of cow manure from my cousin today, nice and aged, and nicely mixed with some straw. Now I get to fill the pits with cow manure and peat moss, and perhaps some leaves that have been composting since last Fall down front. Then, need to add the kelp and final till. No more rocks!
