Got lots done today. Finished 1 bed completely, and started another.
1st bed was supercharged with fish blood and bone mix, seaweed powder,a generous topping of 7.7.7 fertilizer, just to get everything buzzing, a layer of chicken manure in the top few inches, and 10 big loads of organic manure, just to bulk up the system.
Next is to soil test and correct as reqd, but this can wait as I,m not planning to plant until mid May at the earliest. Ground is now covered with black plastic and some weed suppressant material also black. This will improve soil temp as season warms up. In poor sunlight, today, temp went up to 70*
