Here is my seed starting area. The lights are on chains so they can be lowered right down within an inch or two from the plants. This is my new germination box. It's about 16x30 inches and about a foot high. Styrofoam taped together with aluminum tape and heated with a seedling heat mat. I used LED rope light last year and it melted and fused to the styrofoam (not good). This setup keeps it right around 85F.
