Started very early this year with 2 plants. 1707 Caspers and 1953 Daletas I always have some problems with mosaic virus in the summer, because we have a lot of oil pumpkin fields in our region. By starting so early I try to have a nice big plant and a pumpkin bevore the virus comes.

Other giant vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, cabbage, cucumbers and watermelons also grow in the tunnel.

Only about half of the tunnel (300 mē) is available for giant vegetables, the rest is used for plant cultivation and organic strawberries this year.

The patch and the plants are certified as organic, so I am not allowed to use any chemicals or conventional fertilizers. Here you see some Aphidoletes eating the bad aphids.
