My seed selection is centered around the 2350 Geinger genetics. I only have two patches so only two will survive. I will be planting the 1883 and Tiger king in opposing patches. Those are my favorites to survive. I will lite the fuses April 6th.

I lit the fuses on my seeds this evening. I sanded and soaked the seeds in seaweed water for two hours. I added azos and mykos to the soil. The heat chamber is set to 83 f.

I had 100% germination but I damaged the Cods on the 2350. It is the sad looking seedling in the picture. I started a New 1676 Geinger x Haist.

The 1883 Bayuk, 994 Westby and 1540 Anderson are doing well. 1540 Anderson is the leader at this point.

I made the first hoop house 6x6. I left a foot of overhang on each end to lay sandbags for weight to keep the house grounded.

The 1549 has left the hoop house first. It was a difficult cull but unfortunately the 1676 had to get cut. The 1883 and 992 are fighting it out in the other hoop house.
I had to remove the plastic today and lay shade cloth over the hoops because summer is arriving this weekend. Temps forecasted into the 90s.

Well I had my first set back over the weekend. I was going away for the weekend and before I left I placed a chair over the tip of the plant for shade. Unfortunately a storm came through and knocked the chair over crushing the main vine on the 1549. I chose to cut it and go with my back up.

The backup is the 2350 which only had one cod and I had left it for dead. I had never totally given up on it since it was the seed I wanted to grow the must. Mother Nature just needed to intervene.

My 1883 has taken off pretty well. The vine is about 10 ft out and the side vines are starting to fill in . I have been feeding peters 20-20-20 weekly. Also foilar spray seaweed and calcium carb

The 2350 Geinger is starting to come alive. She also is getting 20-20-20 weekly. Starting to notice dark green vines so I am hoping for a dark orange pumpkin.

Pollinated 12 ft out on the 1883 with the 2350. Only 12 secondarys behind the newborn so this morning be isnt desirable. The hope is for the next female to show with at least 16 secondarys pushing.

I am thinking that I am going to go with the pumpkin that I pollinated on 6-7 on the 1883.It isnt ideal but I feel like this is the best decision for a bad situation. My secondaries all stopped growing and only have two secondaries after the pumpkin. I have another pumpkin pollinated 6 past but it is 9 days younger.

The 1883x2350. She wont be setting any records but she will be a looker. I burned my secondaries from what believe was over fertilizing. Just way to aggressive with the 20-20-20. My plant might be 150sqft

1883 x 2350 isnt going to be large because of the lack of secondaries which is from my error. June 7th pollination and is only around 300lbs and 10lbs a day. I hope she continues to develop the Nuclear Orange as Doc would say.
