Part 4.---This formula was from a now ended blog but has been kept alive by those who were interested in this type of stuff. Some will pooh pooh it without even researching it but I read in a post there is a very good tomato grower using BIM. So here it is for those interested.

These arrived today. One of them has lucky genes written on them. Guess I better plant those for sure.

Better day coming. It was so unseasonably warm 2 days ago but this is why the old farmers saying of do not plant before the 10th is holding up this year. Still not completely (but usually)out of frost danger here. Still June.

This is the hour by hour weather. Low of 4C (windchill of 1Cor 34F )along with light wind is not what you want.

Frost is the result. My leaves were sparkly so I washed them off with water (to be safe) when the sun was coming up and hoped for the best when I got home from work. Temperature rising before sun hit the plants was a plus so all was fine. Cool nights are not through but hopefully last of the frost.

Cat. I did a few of the old ones that I have not done in a while. Really like the old ones because they are easy but effective when you are trying to do this many. Plus there is that something about them even if they are not as intricate as newer ones. I have patterns that I would like to do but they are too time consuming.

Haunted castle with tiny Dracula and Screech added. the hard part of tiny ones is making sure the light can come through the tiny cuts. What would Halloween be without these two. Well, my growing season absolutely sucked. Great plants but my nice looking pumpkins all rotted on the vine and some were very orange. Halloween was very bad weather that let up for a couple of hours so people came in that period. Weather was perfect the night before and pretty good the next night. Just that storm that blew through so I used tea lights. But remember as long as you are alive , you can fight another day so all is good.

This Christmas card illustration is from 1900-1909 era. As far as I know the first card was printed in 1846 in France.
