Pretty late to be doing it, but still better than not getting it done. The back yard was easy, because I had tilled it last year and then left it. Even the new patch in the front yard wasn't too bad. This was the best tiller I've ever used. It had hydraulic drive, I don't know if that mattered or it was just big, but it did not have any trouble at all.   Wednesday, April 29 View Page There is the front yard before tilling with a little bit of compost on it and then crab shells and some 10-10-10 for good measure. I did not do good math and let me tell you; three yards of compost does not go anywhere near as far as I thought it would!   Wednesday, April 29 View Page There's the front yard after tilling. I'm hoping this is a good patch this year. The East is to the left in the picture, so it should get morning sun and then off to the right there are trees, to block of the late day heat? I don't know if it's colder back there or if I got the fertilizers wrong. There is a female flower way out at the end of the main vine. I'm hoping that will be my pumpkin.
