Averaged about 13 lb a day , 6 days when I was away. You can see the new leaves trained to follow the main. Next year I'd like to send a tertiary closer to the pumpkin back down the main. If you look closely you can see the fan blowing on the stem   Tuesday, September 1 View Page The bridge inside split. About 3/4 inch deep. Thankfully it didn't penetrate the cavity. I hope the front of this thing is at least 8 in thick if this continues. I put sulphur dust on it, and it was fairly wet, hence the fan. Fingers crossed   Wednesday, September 16 View Page Crack finally penetrated cavity today. Sprayed it with isopropyl. Let dry. Fill cavity with roofing mastic. Cross fingers. Hope it holds for at least a month. Would love to carve it for halloween.
