Covid-19 has hit our town hard. 0.5% of the population has not survived the disease and we're not over it yet.
In the garden things are going as planned. I set up an open ended polytunnel (pictured) on a low lying piece of land that is normally too wet to grow on (clay + peat). Added dehydrated cow manure and perlite.
The idea is to grow 3 FPs (205 Wursten, 176.5 Wursten and 133 Wursten) and just for giggles a marrow (165 or 220 Baggs).
I joined the GVGO tomato contest and hope to grow two 5.95 Konieczny plants in 40-50 litre pots in the new polytunnel.
Just for fun I'm planning on growing quite a few other giants including yard long beans, parnsip, carrot, tall corn, radish, aubergine, leek, runner beans, sunflowers and beets (red, white, pink and fodder).
I made a little compost thee brewer as well.
