I figured it was about time to start my own Diary. I've been growing AG's for four years out of Colorado. Here's a picture of last year's 1059.5

Working on patch prep. Hauled 30 yards of cow manure. Going to let it set for a year before I use it in the patch. Expanding the patch x2 so I can rotate patches every other year. Trying to build up the soil biology.

Today I brought in 15 yd.³ of A coconut husk Pete moss perlite blend . I figured 15 yards for each patch 60'X30'. This product is new for me it contains a lot of goodies Azomite, mastodon peat, worm castings, kelp, dolomite lime, gypsum, citric acid, dried molasses, green sand, fish bone, feather meal, it was all inoculated with beneficial's. I will have to tweak my feeding schedule. Everything in this blend is slow release.

I culled down to two plants on May 16. Went With the 2416.5 Haist and the 1911 Urena. Hoping the pumpkin plants pick up some steam in the next couple of weeks. It’s been a slow start with the cloudy cool weather. Dropped down to 37 last night almost June!

The 2416.5 is about a foot longer then the 1911. Both growing slowly, but not too bad considering the weather.
