2019 theme will be ''Five for fighting''... $500 top weight prize ............WELCOME to the home of the 2019 Intentional-Blossom-Down Competition ............. Prize will be given to an 'all-person-inclusive' nonprofit club or charity, of your choice. Sandbagging IS ALLOWED. However, you must take adequate pictures of your entry and either post them to a diary or allow us to post them for you, here, by the end of the contest. The pumpkin community will want to know how you grew ''it''! Contest ends 11:59:59 pm eastern time (bp time) Oct 29th 2019. Also up for blossom-down grabs: ORANGE AND GREEN ON HALLOWEEN CONTEST Best lookin: $50 Best lookin green: $50 This prize will be decided by impartial judges after Halloween. Entries accepted up to 3 days after Halloween. Carving and decorating encouraged. Prize can go to the grower, or to the club or charity of choice. Entries restricted to mature C. maxima pumpkins or squash weighing 25+ lbs please. C. maxima squash are included in the $500 weight and respective $50 Halloween contests. Its not easy being green... But it might be fun? 150 sq ft entries are welcome make sure your vine supports are temporary, or within the rules of the 150 sq ft competition... Hopefully that covers it. Have fun all ye all ye all...!!! It may not be easy but it will be fun!

How'd he grow it? He says, "Well about 7 dap I put it blossom end down and just watch it and slid it back as the stem got tight I also cut the vine right at the pumpkin to stop the vine from grow over it."
