I am building a modified raised bed for one of my plants this year. I want to go to no till for this one spot in the future, so I am going to load it up with Wow Pumpkin Pro and let the fungi do its thing. I have two years of experience growing pumpkins. I am very much an amature and I run into Ian in Green Bay and he completly changed my strategy. Instead of pits, I am going above ground. My question is what should I fill the area with. I'm guessing I'll need about 40 yards of stuff to grow this plant in so it will be expensive. That's why I'd like to get it right the first time. I'd like to drip feed what I can so I'll need a mixture of something that will hold water an not crust up on top. Something like potting soil I would guess?? Anyone have suggestions??
