Should have a decent pumpkin but will have to see how short days (I get a lot of shade) and cool nights impact growth. 33 days to weigh off. It is my largest 44 day pumpkin ever but would be surprised if it beats my pr of 1286.   Tuesday, September 10 View Page Only day 54. Growth really slowed with cold nights (lower 50s) and cloudy days. Forecast looks good for the next few days, so hoping for a slight uptick in growth. Plant health is average to good for this time of year (rotating Draconil and Eagle). Somewhere around 1100 lbs. Need a lot of luck to beat my pr of 1286. The pumpkin is built like a block, so hoping it goes heavy. I will either go to Altoona or Topsfield as there is no Mid Atlantic weigh off.   Tuesday, October 1 View Page Altoona here I come.
