After careful consideration it is looking like my final melon lineup for 2019 is going to be the following seeds. I almost grew Dave Cantrell’s 171.5 from 2017 last year but decided to grow his 140.5 instead. After the success of the 140.5 I have decided to grow both this year. Thanks again BrotherDave!! 140.5 Cantrell 2017 (228 Carson x self) 171.5 Cantrell 2017 (157 Bright x self) 318.5 Kent 2016 (302 Kent x 242 Kent) 205 Kent JBD (110 Bright x self) 189.71 Lindley JBD (110 Bright x self) Not sure how many of each I will grow other than the JBDs. I plan to grow two each of Chris’s 205 and Jeremy’s 189.71.

140.5 Cantrell x Self. The 140.5 plants are leading the way again this year and all 5 are grafts. Maybe this is a keeper and it is a 4 lobe on the main vine and the plant is big!

Another 140.5 Cantrell x Self, another 4 lobe melon, and hopefully another keeper. This one is set on a finger vine coming directly off of the stump. Thanks for all of your help, advice, and seeds BrotherDave Cantrell!!

140.5 Cantrell plants getting big! Most vines are 10-12 feet long. They still have about 8 more feet to go to fill their allotted space though!
