Well we still have snow, but it's melting at a pretty good pace now. Will be clearing some snow this week out in the planting plots. Went to Wisconsin Dells this week for some fun. Got my new wheels put on the Ram today and I'm in love. The Bighorn will now take the nickname Bigsexy!

Heres the 681 Gansert. Making preparations for pollination hopefully by next weekend on both 681 and 1742. My goal of a June pollination is out of the question.

681 taped 202 OTT yesterday at day 22. She got beat up on stem side due to that nasty hail from Friday. Plant is beat up, but she's still packing the pounds on. Not sure how this will end up. Really late to the party the 1742 looks like it took an open pollination from 7/27. Gut wrenching what a hail storm can do. Will be time to take next year off to work on the soil and configure a good cover of hail netting.

Figured I'd post from this past weekend in Anoka. Had a good time with great bunch of growers. Good to see the big growers from Wisconsin. We had sun and 60's, so all was good. 681 Gansert x selfied is now the 826 Zachmeier.
