Harvested seeds from the 138.5 uow House 2018 Giant Pear Gourd today. Came from the 223 House 2017 uow Bushel Gourd ( 279.5 English x open). Guess the open was a giant pear gourd growing near by.

also harvested seeds from the 231 uow House 2018 Bushel Gourd ( 177 Westfall x open). Was hoping the pear and bushel gourds would dry whole but became obvious they were not going to so harvested the seeds

Last but not least harvested seeds from my BP Bushel Gourd -- 234 uow House 2018 ( 215 House 2017 x open) If anyone needs bushel gourd seeds to use as rootstock for watermellons or if you want to take a chance on the pear or bushel gourd ( since they are open pollinated) email me. They should be dry in a couple weeks.

Love this picture of me and the 532 House 2018 ( 1044 Gansert x 575 Wolf). Won the Morton Pumpkin Festival and made it three wins in a row ( that's why there is three trophies. The picture was taken for a newspaper article and they sent it to me.

GPC was fantastic and so was my luck in pumpkin poker and the seed raffle. First GPC and Giant Growers are the nicest ( and most fun) people on earth.

Not the Patton’s operation but enjoy being in the school greenhouses during winter and early spring. Bad part is the plant sale is every weekend in May when I want to work on pumpkins.

Sent seeds to seed exchange yesterday and there is a bag with assorted gourd seeds in it. Rather than print tags and stuff baggies with each of the individual seeds I put them all in one bag and since I hate to get bags of seeds that aren't labeled. Following is the key to what each seed is. they are open pollinated so who knows what exactly you will get but they will be unique.
