My hoop houses are stretched to the max. I would have taken them down but lots of rain and severe weather in the forecast again. Golf ball size hail took out my first round of tomato’s , cucumbers and bushel gourds last week.

Corn, sunflowers, and weeds are doing pretty good. Rabbits were hungry for the sunflowers this season. Lots of transplants to fill in the gaps.

It’s nice when they group so many eggs together. Makes it easier to spot. Nothing new, same SVB BS. They aren’t picky where they lay them but they seem to find the most devastating areas to do it. Satisfying to pluck off.

IGPGA weigh off yesterday. Major rain fall flooded the venue and roads leading to it. Even though they had to close we were still able to weigh our pumpkins. 2433 Patton x 1911 Urena. Went heavy.

The morning after. Turned out to be a great Halloween. Definitely different. Had 350 trick or treaters. The last few groups of kids hit it big since we still had lots of candy bars left. That’s a wrap at the pumpkin house for 2019.
