Ghost pepper popcorn. Nice taste but then comes some heat. Certainly much hotter than the boring WOAT bowl game was.

Heat wave on the way this week . But at least I am not dealing with a foot of water on my patch.

Another shot

Early morning shot. Too bad it went down to ber, not a sign of any trouble and it went soft. Oh well, not nice to lose a nice one even if not that big. Explains though why growth was slowing. Can't see the inside.

Dorian is on the way. The only hope I have for this tarp staying in place is wind direction is in my favor. 2-3 inches of rain and gusts 65-70 mph. forecast is something on Thursday with less rain but wind at least as strong.

Interesting to see if this is still standing after this week. Ignore the date on the last few photos.

Sunday, September 8 View Page
A little leaf damage from Dorian. Tarps stayed on except for one in the picture. One of the tarps slid down and outer blanket got damp on the bottom.

Sunday, September 8 View Page
Still standing. Wind direction saved it.

Lost on front yard. This one I had paint strainer bags trying to self pollinate but it came down splitting stalk. So I drove in a stake and duct taped it up hoping it will survive to give me seeds. Over 25 heads. That handyman on tv would be proud of this fix.

May not be big by most standards. Tapes about 840 and when local k's visit, it looks pretty big to them. It is the 1810 guy-who- lies-in-the-hammock-and-watches-wife-weed! 1810Marley(porkchop) selfed.
