A Happy new year from cold southern England, the allotment needs attention, cow manure is imminent, ten ton for this years pumpkins. garlic is growing well. onion beds are ready.

It Is a long time between entries everything had to take a temporary stop for radio therapy. here are the onions I have had in my allotment and although planted later than planned are not bad thanks to Peter Glazebrook for the seed.

just a short note the courgettes are growing well this one 4 foot long growing for seed smaller ones 12 inch good eating,my pumpkin is a disaster this year, but my fennel has potential.
