As soon as I transplanted into the bigger pots I put them out side in heated green house, this is on April 28th. The plan was to plant in garden on Saturday April 4th but we got a couple real nice days and it was supposed to rain all day Saturday so I planted three huts on Wednesday may 1st and the last three huts on Thursday may 2nd. Before planting I added cal nitrate and merit to the soil inside the huts.

One of the 2112 Skinner plants had Funny looking leaf when I planted it Wednesday , I looked today and the other one looks the same way, looks like a virus. I culled it and went with a 1937 Werner back up plant. The other 2112 looks fine, Iím really looking forward to growing the 2112 plant again, a very under rated seed.

1937 Werner X 1911 Urena 15 feet 9 inches on mail vine, pollinated 6/22. cir. 125 and 3/4 inches. I had two set 8 inches apart on the same day and when I was setting up the Best looking pumpkin I noticed I had scratched the back up pumpkin and I took a step to reach it and stepped on the Blossom end of the one I was setting up and snapped the blossom off thatís why I kept the one With the scratch and as you can see it has a nice scar on it.

Forgot to say that the 1937 was day 30. Any more I donít measure till day 30 because 20 day measurements donít seem to matter In the finale size of the pumpkin at the end of the season in my patch.

Day 29 1911 Urena X 2005 Haist. Set on main vine 19í7 feet out, pollinated 6/26. This plant threw a female at 12 feet on 6/12 And didnít throw another till the one at 19í7, I would have liked one at the 16 feet range. I wont be home the next two days that's Why I had to do a 29 day measurement instead of a 30 day, last two mornings have been 47 degrees hopefully the morning temps Go back up. .

1501 Vander Wielen X 2112 Skinner set on main vine 14í7 pollinated 6/27 Cir. 116.75 inches 28 days old. and I forgot to put the Cir for the 1911 on the last post it was 120 inches. The 1501 was a very small plant to start and took a lot of time To catch up but it finally did, you cant tell it from the other plants size wise. I wont to thank Mark for contacting Vander Wielen and telling him I wonted to grow the 1501 and Vander Wielen sent me the seed, it was a nice surprise To get it the mall and thanks for sending me the seed Mr Vander Wielen.

Day 28, 2112 Skinner X 1937 Werner 17í9 inches out on main vine, Cir. 118.75 inches pollinated 6/27, I had a pumpkin set at 15 feet that was Going to be the keeper set on 6/23 but a raccoon ripped it off the vine after I drenched with Companion. I had him in a trap but he got the Pumpkin before he got caught, he got in the fence then out then in my trap, I think he liked the Companion better than the Marshmallows. Iíve killed 9 so fare.
