I've played around growing some the past 3 years, every year they get a bit bigger than the last. The death of them every year are stink bugs. I'm Researching and reading all that I can. Big pumpkins are my addiction ;) they're awesome! So, anyways my farmer BIL asked for seeds this year, a little competition. Every Sunday we all go to my MIL for lunch after church, and every Sunday he asks for more seeds. I finally said, how many pumpkins are you growing? He said he has a few more competitors . Including: neighbors, kids, friends, relatives????????so, we're having a big pumpkin picnic at the end of the season, and a weigh off! With a prize of course!! I'm pretty excited!
