Here is another view there is some leaf damage which is why it’s first true leaf is long. The sides of the leaves look waxy so I think there might have been a problem

Now here is the 1949 that I took the root off of by accident even though it is two days older it is much smaller also the cost have dried up and died even though the first true leaf isn’t matured yet I think I might have done something wrong because both my plants are having leaf problems but

This is the plant that had a potassium deficiency. The deficiency is all fixed now but I did have to remove one leaf from the deficiency and one because it wasn’t allowing the vine to lay down. This plant is also the one we’re the main vine tip looks like a bunch of flowers I’ll try watering with very week zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, Epsom salt, potassium sulphate, and calcium nitrate I know it sounds like a lot but I will put very week doses and more of the major nutrients than micros

My plant got crushed by my hoop house yesterday and is basically dead. So I counted how many days I have left untill my weigh off and I have a total of 104 days. I figured if I can get these seeds up by this week and plant them in the ground it will take about a month and a half to get the plants big enough for pollination. That will be about August 4 which will give me about 54 days of growing the pumpkin.

This is the plant it’s 7 ft long the sidevines just started to kick in. The main is only growing a couple inches every day but the sidevines right now are doing about 6. I will probably pollinate the next female I get it will be approximately 11ft out and have over 20 sidevines

This is the plant after the 8 tbs in 2 gallons of water much greener and growing much faster. The secondaries seem like there almost 3 ft the main is about 8. I have a female at about 7 with 11 secondaries behind it that I think I might pollinate as a backup. The next female will be about 12 ft out and have over 20 but since It’s getting a little late in the season for pollination I would rather have this be my backup than one 15 ft pollinated at the end of July.

My plant is 24 ft wide and I believe over 20 ft long it has a triangle shape. I might start cutting the longest side vines by day 20 I think I’m going to cut them all.

Here is a picture of the two spots I got the rot in. The ground was so wet from all the rain that I decide to put a white T-shirt underneath it to block out the moisture. I cut off all the rot area except for on the main it looks like there’s a lvery tiny bit going all the way down into the ground and I would have to cut some roots off to get it. I think I will be cutting all the way down.
