Well as we enter 2018 I have went over my list about 200 times, lol. Still need to put down compost and soil test. Looks like I have narrowed the lines up down to these AG's 2095 Brandt (800 sq ft) 2230 Wallace (800 sq ft) 1059 V/M or 840 Young(500 sq ft) 1985 Miller (150 sq ft) 1328 Burchette (150 sq ft) or 1741 Terry Dmg (I feel a few elite kin growers need to grow this one) Watermelons 291.4 Lindley x 2 298.5 Lindley 291 Kent 350 Kent 302 Kent x 2 204 Bright 332 Mudd or 296.5 Mudd 272.5 K Neptune 245 Bartoli or 253.4 Lindley Other options could be 283 Dawson, 255 Mitchell, 272.5 E Neptune, 262 Lindley, Cantaloupes will be 53.4 Lindleys Bushel Gourds will be 2 plants 268 Kent 250.5 Wexler Long gourds will be 2 plants Maters will be 8 plants We will also plant tall and bighead sunflowers, giant cucumbers, rutabagas, and tall corn.

Here's my bushel gourd from Roberts Family Farm. Set the Arkansas state record at 147 lbs. She went a touch light but I think it was due to being really old and hadn't had any forward growth the last 2 weeks prior to picking.

Killed anither 9pt during shotgun season. We only have 9 days of gun season here and it's shotgun only. I'm a bow hunter by heart but like to sling some lead periodically... Still need to shoot a doe with my bow and do my part in herd management...
