This picture was taken last year in August. Hail took me out in June, so I rocked some winter rye/ vetch. Hoping for a better year this year.

Just thought I'd share a pic of the pumpkin planter guy I found at a nearby antique shop. The sign in the back sums it up for us gardeners. LOL. Should prolly put sign back in the AG patch.

I figured I better get a birthday selfie in with the 778 Gansert. Decided to name her Gwen. My girlfriend can't stand Gwen Stephanie so decided I'd get her going. Haha.

Mom and Dad dropped over to pick up some sweet corn and take a look at the pumpkin. No record breaker here that's for sure. Liking the orange though. Should make for a nice fall display out front if all holds together.

Decided it was time to harvest the little ones. Plants were pretty much toast. Harvest time on the bigger one awaits.

Here's our pumpkin for the season. First one to the scales hit at 636 pounds. Met some really nice people at Anoka yesterday. Great job to all the other growers. Was a great time.
