Although it will be 70 on Friday, temps are expected to drop again next week. I am not sure if we will ever see spring this year? I usually start seeds in 1.5 weeks and I don't think that will happen this year. Perhaps an early May start for me? Patch has not been tilled yet. Only growing 1 plant this year; again. Hoping for as much luck as I had last year.   Monday, April 23 View Page Currently soaking a 993 V/M. Hopefully it germinates this year :)   Monday, April 30 View Page Unfortunately I am not having much luck this year. the 993 did not germinate. I started on of my own seeds from a previous pumpkin and that did not germinate. So now I am trying the 777 Young. If this one does not germ, I think I am going to throw in the towel on the pumpkins this year. I have a lot going on this summer with family weddings, etc so time is already limited. Fingers crossed the 777 germinates and I can have a diary this year :)   Tuesday, May 1 View Page there is life! finally!   Monday, May 7 View Page The 777 that I had did not germ. I do not have much luck with older seeds :( . So for the second year in a row, I am growing one of my own. The 692 Arnold is on a roll, looks beautiful and has been living under a grow light.
