Lost the 2118 Jutras when temps dropped to -7 about three weeks ago and heat light burnt out so replaced with Bubbas 955. Hate losing the 2118 cause it was the only seed I paid money for this year.

Here's my helper Pierre. He sleeps in the weirdest places and positions and usually looks like he's dead

Saturday, June 30 View Page
Still alive! Got over 3 inches of rain since yesterday. Woke to a major thunder storm this morning and more coming over the next few days. Very hot so keeping new pollinations shaded with fans to cool. Surrounded by trees here so high winds don't effect the patch too much. Just hoping the hail stays away

Sunday, July 1 View Page
Pollenated three 4 lobers on different side vines of 767 Spivak. Happy Canada Day! Not the best day to celebrate, been raining steady all day and no sign of stopping. Perfect day for the patch tho.

Sunday, July 1 View Page
723 is my smallest plant in the worst spot in the patch. I've been trying to correct the yellow leaves with Epsom salt, boron, extra kelp, potassium but nothing. Not going to worry about it cause pumpkin is as growing great and keeping up with other plants. Plant is healthy other wise. Maybe colour doesn't matter

Monday, July 2 View Page
Lots of rain over the last few days and back to sunshine today. Vines sure grew a lot. Buried vines on three plants today plus the squash. 802 was the worst with 24 vines that needed 3' buried. Did the math and covered 192' of vines and one more plant to do tomorrow. I hurt now.
