Growing 2 this year. This is the 1862 wolf. Also growing my 864 from 2012, grew this one in 2016 for a perfect round deep orange 835.

1862 roots are very aggressive. These were under some walking boards on the edge of the patch. Each node has 1-2 roots on the bottom and 1-2 on top.

Skin all around the stem started splitting dap 15 and it continues to spread. I think the gnomes are having knife fights around the pumpkin at night.

1862 wolf...best grower ive had, its outpacing my 1427 from 2016 and the plant is much more healthy despite some PM and borer damage so Im expecting a stronger August finish and better sept weight.

Looks like a copy of the 1862 with less color. Looks like it will go significantly heavy.

1826 wolf dmg (2145 sib)
This pumpkin has all the characteristics of being heavy to chart and is closing in on 1500 OTT. Healthiest plant i've grown this late in the season, its not great, there is disease and damage but the leaves are still mostly green and upright and still pushing 10#/day.
The 1826 was 18% heavy and the sib pollinator grew the 1742 wolf at 12% heavy

4th place at Clarence...1579.5
This one was deceptive as it had all the hallmarks of going heavy but was only slightly over chart taping 416".
Still a fun year watching this one grow and a decent jump in my PB up from 1427. I have to keep reminding myself that
growing in the same small space year after year since 2011 is a limiting factor and that my results are pretty good for the situation.

Got a 3d pumpkin carving book and some quality tools and tried a carving on my 350 that's sitting in the front yard. Not bad for a 1st try!
