I think trolls lived in it...   Wednesday, October 17 View Page One with the plaques she won...   Wednesday, October 17 View Page Her complete road side display she does this every year and hundreds of people stop and take pictures .. yes she lives on a pretty good sized chunk of land... but people come from miles away to take pictures... she also grew some pretty big melons... all three pumpkins won the Howard dill award.. which is what she really grows for anyhow... and the next top question every one wants to know.. the pollinator.........   Wednesday, October 17 View Page Ha ha a moose is on the loose....lol well up north at the other house...ok the pollinator... she had a fruit set on it.. the plant was an easy to grow plant however the fruit stopped growing at around 400 to 450 pounds... so like any die hard grower looking to get her jacket and to beat her nephew she yanked the plant and fruit and just spent more time on her other three... she does not weigh fruit... unlike me... I weigh everything ahead of time... lol.. so off to the compost pile it went.. that’s what happened.. no bes... no dill ring.. she said it was oval shaped and would have been orange.. it just stopped growing... I would think it was probably a day 30 or so abort... so now yawl know the story....   Wednesday, October 17 View Page Seeds from her fruit ... have not and will not be harvested until after holloween we could not bring ourselves into cutting a hole into such a beautiful pumpkin... so after holloween we all will know how many and who is inline... she wanted me to post this stuff... FYI.. her words... clubs come first then others... after.. my aunt is a very humble and quiet person she has been overwhelmed with emails calls texts news crews people from papers and magazines... I speak to her regularly and I can tell her great success of a year still is not over.. I mean after all... there is a new queen in this hobby.. Queen Deb Gantner... I’m proud of her.. she whooped my ass.. big time but she got me into growing and a lot of others... so if you see her in Green Bay say hello.. she will be there along with a lot of other great growers from across this world.. so book your flight and register to come to the biggest pumpkin event ever.. yes ever.. Green Bay will be the big show... congratulations Deb...   Monday, October 29 View Page My aunts kin’s have been cut up and the seeds have been harvested... her 2152 had a good seed count the other 2 have a low seed count so let the emails flow...   Wednesday, November 14 View Page Well my aunt has hit her limit on bubbles she is now done taking seed requests for this year... the requests came in at a very high rate and have consumed her seeds.. so if you want a seed we’ll wait for an auction the seed vault doors are closed as of today.. thank you everyone who wants to grow her seed... congrats to the clubs that will get her seeds............ word has it the WGPG auction will be one to watch....
