Thursday, May 3 View Page I moved into a new place the same weekend as "The Big Show" this year and I missed seeing and talking with all you growers in Portland. Last year I grew my first Howard Dill Award and it's proudly on display in front of my global pumpkin world map. Lol   Wednesday, May 16 View Page Hello grower friends near and far. Time to start my 2018 pumpkin diary! I had big plans this year to put up a big greenhouse early, those were derailed by an unexpected neck stinger injury. I am not sure what caused it, but i've been seeing a doctor once a week for 2.5 months now. I am getting better but it's been really narly and I'm not out of the woods yet. The only growers that I have spoken with this year are Manure Man and Green Elephant. Good luck to all this season. We have become best friends over the last 12 years or so. We first met when his church pastor the Green Elephant stopped in the nursery one day and told me he had a friend up the hill with a manure problem that I should meet. Lol.
