Saturday, June 2 View Page Gonna try 1 plant this yr,, I started a 2150 on may 7th --late start because i thought our local weighoff was going to be end of oct (it always was) , then seed germed with problems so ordered a 2261 got it may 16th & it would not germ until may 22 but also had rotted the tips of the cots ,, so then i got hold of criss (so cal grower), & he had a 1533 plant ( 2145 selfed) a bit bigger than the 2 plants i have, ,So i find out our weighoff is now a month earlier than i thought , Anyways The 1533 plant seems to like its new home,& surprisingly ok in the first heat 85* & not really been in the ground for very long (only 5 days) ,, so i figure the most i could hope for by weight off time would be 60- 70 days,, O well maybe enough time for new PB ,, I am not quite up to date on latest growing techniques ,,Criss is filling me in a bit (thanks criss or aka so cal grower)
