Of course, environmental factors CAN affect fruit characteristics in any given year.

>>>>OH, and please note my pumpkin protectors---If anyone whom runs a weighoff sees this, consider
this idea for incorporation into the Weighoff scheme(!); Together, y'all, we can literally STOP pumpkin-strap damage to our worthy fruit!
If it were a shoulder strap cutting into you on a long trip with a computer bag or loaded dufflebag, you'd consider it, I'll bet---Thanks---EG

Here is 'Ms. Warty'. She is the 1421.5 Stelts, now poll'd by the 2009 Wallace , courtesy of Gary Adams' flowers;
There is no other cross like it via PumpkinFanatic unless one or two went under the radar, surprisingly, and i THOUGHT
I saw one listing for it (1421.5 X 2009) SOMEWHERE, but I don't wanna put anyone on the spot without knowing for sure.
I had planted a seed from 'er in '15, and it was a VERY vigorous plant, but just not a good year in THAT spot i selected,
for the fruit. It really kept TRYING to be bountiful. Maybe I will grow it again in '18/'19. The wartiness has not been evident
in at least 2 of my other pollinations FROM it, (my 443.5 (1207 Young x 1421.5) and my 178 (492 Gerry x 1421.5), but
those seeds have grown respectably-orange 648.5 and 700 est., respectively, even for ME, lol. Perhaps it'll show up in o'spring
of the 343 (above) itself or one other cross i have yet to try; Either weigh, 1421 X 2009? Mmmmmm, I'll have what IIII'm having, lol---
Enjoy the next few pics. Please.
