Had to cut off old, possibly diseased leaves with pruning shears. Sterilized shears by running them over a lighter flame after each cut. My son took several male flowers and tickled the one female flower.

Newer and older leaves dying. Pumpkin is hardly growing. Unable to find any pests, probably overwatering (1/2 " to 1" every morning when temps above 95F) in attempt to reduce heat stress and wilting.

Deletas, week 9. Hardly growing now. Leaves all over wilting and slowly dying. Had applied EB Stone tomato & vegetable food fertilizer
4-5-3 twice (about once a month). Noticed leaves wilting more after fruit set. Later, another fruit did not set. Lots ants interfering with that second fruit's flower and on other plants' female flowers, which did not set.

This is it, pumpkin ready to be picked. My 4-year-old son's first pumpkin from seedling received from KCKevin (thanks, again) at Irvine Park Railroad Big Grower's Forum back in early-May.
All vines have died off, growing since May so about 100 days.
