Brand new member of the site and first year giant squash grower. This year I'll be attempting with an 1844 Holub that is pushing dirt after around 68 hours. I will be posting an update picture of the sprout within the next few days. To be continued...

1844 Holub two days after sprouting. It has one small cot, but overall extremely healthy plant and fantastic color.

Here's my 1844 Holub looking a lot healthier. The one small cot it had after sprouting finally caught up with the plant itself. Very beautiful color green, and you can see it's true leaf finally popping up. Amazing plant overall, makes me very excited!

Here's my 1844 Holub and in the back is my brother Hayden's 2624 Willemijns plant. Haven't posted in a while because I was a little worried about the start of my 1844, but hard work and love has made this plant come a long way. I have a couple squash not opened yet on the main vine but one is about 15 feet and looking like it will open within the next couple days for pollination. I will keep you updated
