Friday, January 6 View Page well, our season is just about over. competition is on 21st january, and it has been an ordinary season, to say the least; but, we are already looking forward to next season; i don't know why, but it just makes us keener??? i think i will win the ugliest pumpkin though.   Friday, January 6 View Page at least my laginess pumpkin is going well   Friday, January 6 View Page even my 1947 clements is looking a bit weird. as i said ---looking forward to next year   Tuesday, January 17 View Page well, i have been saying that this has been a bad year for a lot of us down here. this morning it got worse, i lost my last pumpkin, so now out of 5 pumpkins, and one water melon, i have one water melon left; the pumpkin was a beautiful colour, and shape, weighing around 700 lbs. really bright orange that i got off Alan laginess. thank you Alan. we are heading for another hot day today, around 43 degrees celsius, or 108- Fahrenheit; we have had a few days the same, if only it could have held on a bit longer, our competition is on this saturday, 21st. all i can say is bring on next year??????? garry
