I decided I have the best neighbors. Over the winter one right behind me with a big hay field said they are not growing this year and was going to grow a garden on a piece by their house and I should use the piece close to my house for a bigger garden. I said okay. Got the soil tested and amends ready.

Tuesday another neighbor shows up with a tractor and plow and says what area you growing in? We marked it off and he plowed it, then yesterday I get a text. from the neighbor on the other side, it says you get your soil sample back yet? I said yes, he says good, meet me at the patch. He shows up with a tractor and tiller, we amended it and he tilled it.

Bad news, lost both of the squash, the jutras stopped growing and the grande broke, pollinated another and it didn't take. Today pollinated another Jutras and Sunday the Grande. Hoping for good things now, if not about time to be done with the squash. The 1553.5 Weston is doing great, this is day 20 on it and it is our biggest day 20 ever.

2109 day 30. 204 ott. Had the weirds thing happen this morning. the 1262 has been sitting with no growth and looking dull for over a week. Went out this morning to cut it and it looked a little shiner, I thought weird, so went and got a tape and measured it. It was 8 inches bigger. Decided to leave it alone and see what happens, will put a pic on tomorrow.
