Finally done growing plant and burying vines so figured I would get a diary started. This is the 2145A x 2145B. Growth has been slow on this one. Day 30 today and it really needs to kick into gear. This was not a good year for early pollinations as our weather has been terrible.

My 1724 x 2145 and growth is good. It appears to have a bad lobe so the measurements wont mean much. Day 28 today

2145 B x 2145 A (sib) at Day 20. Probably the best shape out of all the pumpkins. Late pollination because of some shape issues on the first one and the cold weather we had. Day 20 numbers are excellent but they always are when you pollinate late. Thanks Qtip for the plant, I will do my best with it.

1533.5 Kline x Self at Day 20. Great plant to grow, no issues yet.

318 Kent x Self is growing nicely. Tough decision between two on this one, went with the big fat one. Hopefully it was the right decision.

208 Steil x Sibb growing well. This one is just starting to pick up the pace now. It hasn't rained here in about 20 days so it is hard to get enough water on the raised beds.

Two 270 Kent Plants. Not really sure what I am doing here but I will be pollinating something over the next week. Will Sibb these also.

Moved my Long Gourds to a new location this year to avoid disease. Appears to be working so far. The 107.25 Scherber is on the Left and the 89 Hefner is on the Right. My 128 Steil seeds went bad this winter and would not germinate so I was in a bind but Qtip came through with these plants. Thanks again. They are neck and neck racing to the top.

2230 Wallace D42 so far I like everything about this one. Record cold last Wednesday and the nights in the 40's slowed everything down some but, oh well.

The 1724.5 Steil is doing well also at D44.

2145A at Day 16. I cut off the original fruit at D36 because it had a plumbing issue and was slowing down and pollinated this one X my other 2145. This one is growing extremely fast with the giant plant behind it. Probably will lose the stump on this one eventually unless it make record gains soon.

The greenhouse shot. 1724.5, 2230 and 2145A in that order.

2145B which is an outside plant at D36. Making good gains despite the weather. We did get an inch of rain finally and they didn't blow up.

1533 Kline is doing well, matching the pace of the 2145B plant next to it. If it keeps this up another 10 days we will have something. I have two long vines growing off this plant which I am going to pollinate with my best two pumpkins.

1533 Kline x Self day 50 still plugging along pretty well. We have had better squash growing weather than pumpkin growing weather this last month.

1533 Kline x 2145B plant. This is my best 2145 and should make and interesting cross.
