Well this little hot spell did it's toll, cut a 2 ft section out of the main of the 2145. 5 ft before stem . Seems health from cut to the pumpkin. And looks like my best main vine, best plant, the 2261 is officially harvested. Hope I found this quick enough it will make it 5 days, shpuld vine was still green, just squishy. 2095, just became the stillwater pumpkin

2261, ready for Bloomfield on Saturday, was hoping for more with this one one little spot the size of a quater last Thursday on the main killed it 7 ft past the stem, she was still green and appeared good, but squishy, and amputation showed it was not going to last

Fun day in Bloomfield, highest finish 3rd place, and 2nd biggest pumpkin i ever grew at 1261, 16.5 lbs shy of my personal best, which should be shattered next week by a lot, and I mean a lot. As long as it gets there of course, oh this is going to be the longest 6 days of the year

All cleaned out and raked, spread the rest of the peat moss I didn't get into pots. Spread some mustard seed but doubt it gets to flower before it freezes. Seed what happens really want to broad fork the whole patch before the hard freeze comes and stays
